Visiting Australia

I HAVE JUST RETURNED FROM A VISIT TO AUSTRALIA – THE BIRTHPLACE OF OUR JAKE.! DURING MY STAY IN SYDNEY I ENJOYED SEEING THE DOGS SHOPPING WITH THEIR FAMILIES.

EVEN SOME VERY UPSCALE STORES WELCOME THE PETS, PROVIDING WATER BOWLS EVEN INSIDE THE STORE AS WELL AS AT THE FRONT DOOR.

THERE ARE MANY SIDEWALK COFFEE HOUSES AND THE ENTIRE FAMILY CAN ENJOY THE EXPERIENCE.
DUE TO IMPORT RESTRICTIONS MY FAMILY AND FRIENDS LAMENTED THAT I HAD NOT BEEN ABLE TO SUPPLY THEM WITH JAKE’S CUISINE. IN TIME WE HOPE TO CHANGE THAT!!

New Gang Members: Miles Davis and his sister Opal

I want to introduce everyone to one of Jake’s Gang – Miles Davis is his name.Miles Davis and his sister Opal (black Labs) were found in a heavily wooded area outside Birmingham Al.They were about 3 mos. old. Family in Baton Rouge heard about them and decided to drive up and bring them back.Miles joined his family in Baton Rouge and Opal joined her new family in New Orleans.

Suddenly when Miles was about 10mos he began having severe seizures — he spent a week being treated at L.S.U. Vet school.
Needless to say Miles Davis was put on some heavy meds and needs constant care and regular blood work because of his medication.

Over time his seizures have decreased but he does have some petit mal occurences.

We first met Miles Davis and Opal in 2007 – they are both the sweetest dogs.

Recently there was great news Miles liver enzymes came back PERFECT.

Miles diet consists of Jake’s Cuisine and raw meat.No dry food or treats.Treats consist of
raw grain fed bones.

Miles Davis and Opal still get together once in awhile when Opal’s family brings her for a visit.

On behalf of Miles Davis and Opal and everyone at Jake’s Cuisine.

All our Organic grains come from BOB’S RED MILL which is located in the state of Washington.

Raw Veggies For Your Dog

Whenever Pat and I have to go out of town,Emma from G’DAY DOGGIE takes care of Sydney and Mr. Beauregard for us.The first time she came she was rather surprised when after inquiring about “treats” I pointed to an organic butternut squash and bag of carrots.

Yes they love to chomp on raw veges.The squash sliced thinly{skin and all}.Sydney eats the whole carrot but we dice Mr.Beauregard’s because being a PUG he is dentally challenged.

As they enjoy this they are exercising their teeth and gums while adding minerals and roughage to their diet.

Nothing pleases me more than to see and read about yet another dog family member’s quality of life improving since starting on Jake’s Cuisine. Hopefully you’ve read the background story of my product- a description of the ingredients is given in the Health Benefits page.

Our own companions, Mister Beauregard and Sydney are fine examples of overcoming adversity; they’re often mistaken for puppies (slight exaggeration) despite advanced age. Naturally their staple diet is Jake’s Cuisine.
